This page explains what personal information ScrubClub collects when you book a clean or contact us, why we collect it, where it's stored and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

ScrubClub Ltd, registered in Scotland, operating as a domestic cleaning service in Glasgow. Trading as ScrubClub at myscrubclub.co.uk. The data controller for this site is ScrubClub Ltd; you can reach us at hello@myscrubclub.co.uk.

What we collect

When you book or enquire, we collect what you give us:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Your postcode and details about your property (size, bathrooms, pets, parking, flooring)
  • The service you're enquiring about, your preferred date and time, and any add-ons or notes you add
  • How you heard about us (optional)

We also receive basic technical information from your browser when you load the site (page URL, user agent, referer) so we can troubleshoot bugs and understand which pages are useful.

Why we collect it

We use your information to give you a quote, confirm the booking, deliver the clean, send a receipt and stay in touch about your bookings. Lawfully this is either performance of a contract (when you've booked) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (when you've asked for a quote).

We do not sell your information, share it for marketing, or use it for advertising profiles.

Where it's stored

Enquiries are stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU) and sent as an email to our team via Brevo (Sendinblue, EU-based transactional email). The website itself is hosted on Vercel. The booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to filter automated spam.

How long we keep it

Active customer records are kept for as long as you remain a customer. Quote enquiries that don't convert to a booking are kept for up to 24 months in case you come back to us, then deleted. Tax records (invoices, payments) are kept for the period required by HMRC, currently six years.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email hello@myscrubclub.co.uk and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we'll update this page. The current version was last reviewed on 2 May 2026.
